Today is the due date.
No signs of labor
- no release of a sticky pink mucus, no regular contractions, no backache and the release of the sac of water.
So i'm prepared for the induction, will admit medical centre at 7.30pm.
4.00pm, i have my medicine which gave by gynae.
Tat medicine to clear body (pass motion).
- after few hours, i still din pass motion. until i reach medical centre.
7.00pm, i take a nice bath.
Wash clean the whole body, especially my hair.
Because during confinement mth, can't bath and wash hair.
Actually i'll admit at 7.30pm, but mother in law call up the medical centre for extend time. Because we have our dinner at 8.00pm.
Today is the last delicous dinner i have before i deliver.
About 9.45pm reach medical centre.
Hubby & his family send me there.
After the hospitalized procedure done, they leave.
I'm alone and scare.
I'm scare not only scare of labor, is scare of "something" else.
Because today is 14/July of chinese calendar, is hungry ghost festival.
10 something, i force myself to sleep & pray to Buddha.
Hehe.... wat a timid mummy....

Inducing labor
Early morning 4am, labor induced.
5am.... 6am..... 7am...., ermmm nothing happen, no pain.
I still can walk to ladies.
Artificial rupture of the membranes
8am, gynae rupture the amniotic membrane artificially.
A sterile, plastic, thin hook is brushed against the membranes.
Then contractions begin.
9am, contractions stronger and longer.
I feel very pain.
By seeing this, the midwives put drip on me.
It can be turned down
ooo i forget to brush teeth.
And the midwives ask me to brush, if not later i'll vomit during labor.
So difficult to brush teeth, coz contrations.
While contration i stop, after contration i brush.
midwives help me by holding a small cup of warm water and a bowl.
11am, contractions more stronger,longer and closer together.
I very pain till i groan.
The midwives offer me to take pain killing drugs.
After the injection, pain relief.
12 noon, my support person - hubbynot here yet.
Midwives help me to phone him.
Midwives inform tat hubby's phone in voicemail.
Luckily she ask me is it the phone no. she call.
why my hubby not here yet??
B'cos one of the midwives told him, due to this is my first delivery, labor won't start fast.
Might start around afternoon.
So he delay deli go to hv lunch with fren.
Once he receive the call, telling him tat i'm gonna to deliver.
He straightaway rush here without his lunch.
12 something, hubby arrive.
He stand beside me, i hold his hand.
I grab hard while contractions start.
1pm, contractions are long, strong, intense, and overlap.
I rely heavily on hubby, grap him very hard.
And midwives tie my leg on small pillar tat place beside the bed.
Dilate 8cm, midwives tell me tat if i feel an urge to push then can push.
So i start pushing.
While i push, the midwives can c baby's hair.
So she ask my hubby to c, at first hubby can't c.
Then the midwives post a lamp near, so tat he can c clearly.
Finally he c and feel happily.
1.30pm, gynae in.
I push while gynae instructed to.
Gynae : PUSH....PUSH.... GOOD... GOOD.... PUSH
Midwives : PUSH.... PUSH
Gynae : Dun hold ur husband's hand !!!
Then i hold/ grab my tight.
Gynae : Dun shout !!!
Midwives : PUSH.... can c baby's head oledi... PUSH....
Gynae : Dun bend ur body... buttock down...
Baby's head out, gynae ask to rest few second wait contractions then push again.
Contractions comes, i push hardly.

Transition Phase over- the hardest phase but thankfully the shortest. After 30 minutes,Trisha girl borned.
After clean her, the midwives bring her near to me & hubby.
I just at a glance to her, then i'm too tire and fall asleep.
After few hours, midwives wake me and put on urinary catheter.
And i still with drip.
Then midwives send me to normal ward.
